Learner Centered - Student Focused

Housed within the SN Office of Student Services, the Center for Academic Success (CAS) offers a series of workshops, enrichment seminars and individual/group tutoring to assist students with scholarly writing, test taking strategies, language skills, stress management, career advisement, and mentorship activities. The CAS staff consists of a director, a CAS faculty member, student tutors, mentors, and enrichment faculty who provide students with supportive services leading to the successful completion of program requirements.

All students are invited to participate in the academic services offered. To maximize effectiveness, the Center is designed to meet the needs of all nursing students through both scheduled group activities and individual meeting sessions. Hours of operation include both day and evening times and will be posted each semester on the SN website.
